Amanda Kenney is a portrait photographer focusing primarily on fashion, editorial, lifestyle, and commercial portraiture.

Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Amanda realized her passion for photographing people while attending high school in Florida, where she later pursued a degree in photography.  After graduating college, Amanda spent some time working as a photographer for SRQ Magazine and has had her work featured in several publications, including a recent feature in Arsenic Magazine while residing in Los Angeles.

As demonstrated by her work, Amanda strives to portray a sense of intimacy in her images and she maintains a certain degree of gentleness through the use of soft tones and often choosing to shoot with natural light.

With influences ranging from the cinematic to the photographic to the musical, Amanda draws inspiration through an overall appreciation for her fellow creatives, whether it's Paul Thomas Anderson, Ellen von Unwerth, or Beach House.

In her spare time, Amanda likes to go hiking and eats entirely too much pizza.
